Counselling and Psychotherapy in St Neots, Cambridgeshire

Therapy for the effects of life's difficult experiences

Integrative Counsellor in St Neots, Cambridgeshire

Welcome, and thank you for visiting good2talk Counselling.

Hello, I'm Annie Curran-White, an integrative psychotherapist based in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. For the past 14 years I have helped people through some of life's most difficult experiences, from anxiety, loss and relationship difficulties to painful events from the past that still cast a shadow.

Being an integrative therapist means I don't take a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw on a range of therapeutic styles and adapt them to you, whether you'd like a few sessions to work through something specific or deeper, open-ended work over the longer term.

Counsellor in St Neots, Cambridgeshire

I hold an MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and am an accredited member of the BACP (The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), the UK's leading professional body for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Alongside my private practice, I work as a Senior Therapist at One Therapy London.

There's no problem too big or too small to bring; my approach is shaped around you, at your pace, whether for a few sessions or as long as you need.

You don't need a label to come to therapy.

If you have found Good2Talk you have already taken the first step towards getting help.

Getting Support

It may be that you are experiencing events in your life that you are finding difficult, such as problems with relationships, struggling with uncomfortable, overpowering emotions, or facing a challenging situation you cannot resolve by yourself, despite your best efforts.

As an Integrative therapist I use a variety of approaches which I adapt to meet your personal needs and situation.

My Approach

Working face to face or online, I provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment where, together we can explore your hopes and goals to enable you to address what may be holding you back from living as you would like to.

I have specialist training in working with survivors of rape and sexual abuse, and additional training in post-traumatic embitterment (PTED).

Common Concerns

Will you judge me for what I'm struggling with?

No. Counselling is a space without judgment — it's genuinely one of the few places where you can say the things you might not say anywhere else, however messy or complicated they feel. My job is to listen and understand, not to evaluate or fix. Whatever brings you here, it's safe to talk about.

Is my problem 'bad enough' for therapy?

If something's bothering you enough that you're thinking about it, or it's affecting how you move through life, that's enough. You don't need to be in crisis or to have experienced trauma to benefit from counselling. People come for all sorts of reasons — sometimes it's a specific difficulty, sometimes it's a feeling of being stuck, sometimes it's simply wanting space to think clearly about their life. There's no threshold you need to meet first.

Will therapy actually help me?

Therapy isn't about someone fixing you or giving you the answers — it's about creating a space where you can explore what's happening, make sense of your experience, and find your own way forward. I can't promise anything magical, but what I can offer is a thoughtful, curious, relational space where real change often becomes possible. Many people find that simply being heard and understood shifts something fundamental.

Will you understand me?

I work with people across a wide range of experiences, including trauma, and I'm genuinely interested in understanding how things are for you, specifically. My approach is relational — that means I'm not following a script, but responding to who you are and what matters to you. If we start working together and something doesn't feel right, we can talk about that too. It's a collaboration.
